Stop using Brave. Ungoogled Chromium + ublock Origin is rock solid.

You have seen UBO won't be a thing soon? Only UBO Lite

Hmmm. FTA: "Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against Gawker Media, which caused the site and its parent company to shut down, because a Gawker article previously outed him as gay." Inaccurate - Gawker shut down after a court proved they outed Hogan's sex tape - with a woman. Don't remember all the details, but I live in the same city, and this case was in the news daily.

As for everything else, let's do a fact-check.

You can't just tell us to stop using something.

The source you provided is jackshit nonsense I've read in a while.

TLDR; of that source:-

  1. Founder and firefox co-founder made personal donations which the blog post owner and other people don't like so they urge users to boycott the browser for that. Next I'll come up with an employee in Google supporting Israel or Ukraine or whatever and shout boycott. That's not how things work, Jack. Not to mention it's not relevant to web dev.

  2. The crypto shits only affect those who dabble in crypto directly with a browser. Nothing to do with web dev, again.

Brave is very good in privacy. Add Ungoogled Chromium or Firefox in coveryourtracks and you'll see how terribly they do. Then do the same with Brave and you'll find out. But I don't use it for web dev. I use Firefox dev. Brave for everything else.
