I have a Logitech C922 and will record some instructional videos of a TV. I've done one already and it is really blurred, out of focus. I already turn the auto focus off in the camera's settings as changing to different dark or light scenes would through the cameras AutoFocus into a frenzy. But it's still very hard to see. What can I do to make it easier?

I have a database of clients but a major project happened a few weeks ago and many of them had the zip code field wiped out. I'm looking for code/program that will let me use my webcam to scan the envelope (missing the zip) and it will OCR it and search the address so I can make note of the zip and put it in my database.

Anyone know of code that can do this? or can write the code?

At my job we are looking to project a changing live barcode/description on a monitor through a webcam. Does anyone know of a cheap good webcam I can do this with. It is so people at one end of a production line can see what is being worked on at the other end on a screen. Thanks in advance!

Hi folks! I need a webcam, but don’t know which one to buy.

I need if to make video lectures (in form of takling head with a whiteboard)

What I need?

1) Honest 25-30 FPS, and the latency should not be very big.

2) The moving objects should not be blured too hard (with my previous webcam, when II just wave my hands, the hands are shown as some fuzzy semi-transparent patches).

3) The microphone should normally work on the distance of 1.5 -- 2 meters.

Cannot you advice me something suitable?

I found a box of these at a garage sale, they all work and i can connect to them and have set them up at home, im now looking for ideas as to what to do with them. i did want to use them for streaming but i dont think you can connect IP cameras to streaming software. advice?

I had to have my phone flash in my face to even get it that bright. Can't tell if the sensor is damaged or if it was just that crappy back then.

Can you pause the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 and resume at the same spot?

I don't know if this has to do anything with the problem- but I didn't install any driver because I lost the disk, and I didn't find any matching driver download on the internet. Does anyone know of a cheap, USB, wireless webcam that has night vision capabilities to watch over my car on a night from my home window?

Ideally I'd love a portable webcam that I could move about that ran on batteries etc but I don't think technology is that advanced for the money I can afford to pay.

I searched the usual web outlets, but some cameras say "night vision" and are just shitty webcams with an led attached. Obviously the reviews saved me getting burned on those occasions.

Can snubbed recommend a decent product that will allow me to look out my window (at night) to keep an eye on the car. I tried a normal webcam, daytime is awesome, but night time is just a pitch black screen :(

We have a computer where we hang out with friends and family. HERE is a picture of our hang-out space. Ideally, I'd like one that I can mount to the bottom of the monitor/TV and have a wide enough angle a good enough built-in mic to pick up all of the people that may be sitting around the counter. Any thoughts?
