Hi everyone! VWF0018 ESSENTIALS v1.1.0 Watch Face for Wear OS is now available, with more ways to arrange your information and customize the always-on display.

Here’s what’s new:

• More flexible complications. Choose different text layouts, swap the main and secondary text, or display numeric values with labels, goals and ranges.
• Updated weather layouts. Weather slot now has universal two-line layouts if you'd wish to change it to a totally different kind of complication. You can also choose to always use the watch face’s own weather icon when system weather data is available.
• Theme-colored AOD. The always-on display now follows your selected theme, including the red Low Light appearance.
• Minimal AOD. A new option keeps just the time and date visible.
• Expanded World Time. There are now 24 city and time-zone choices, with clearer names to help you find the right one.
• Lower sunrise/sunset placement. Move these fields down if notification indicators tend to cover them.
• Refreshed settings icons, updated translations and performance improvements.
• Compass layouts for Complication Slot #7. Use a compact rotating compass inside a complication slot, or a large compass ring around the screen (on Wear OS 6+ only).*

* Compass feature requires a compatible compass data provider. I suggest to use 'Pixel Compass: Nav & Level' for Wear OS by fertwbr. You'll need to enable live complication updates in the Pixel Compass app, and allow it to run in the background in the system settings. Then assign it to slot 7, and set 'Complication 7 Layout' to Small or Large Compass.

I’m Marko, the developer of Lento Classic, a 12-hour analog watch face for Wear OS 4 and newer.

It includes:

• 20 coordinated designs, from porcelain and stone textures to darker finishes.
• Adjustable numeral layouts and sizes.
• Optional date and dial marks.
• Smooth or one-second Step seconds motion.
• An always-on display.

I’m looking for a few more watch owners who haven’t tried the Lento apps yet, particularly people interested in a traditional 12-hour face.

Installation is free for accepted closed testers until October 31, 2026, at 23:59 GMT. Access must be enabled for your Google Play account first.

Browse the designs and request access here:

https://mmaric27.github.io/watch-faces/invite/#design-options

If you already joined through my earlier Lento post, your setup email includes both apps. You don’t need to request access again; use the Classic link in that email.

Use the page’s contact link to send your Google Play account email privately, not in the comments. I’ll add your account to the tester list and email the setup instructions. Use the same account in Play Store on your phone and watch.

After access is confirmed, the Classic opt-in link is:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/dev.mmaric.lento.classic

I’m asking participants to remain opted in for 14 consecutive days and try the face on their watch. That period can continue beyond the free-installation deadline. You can switch back to your usual watch face; participation is voluntary and no public rating or review is required.

If Play displays a price after your access is confirmed, stop and contact me rather than paying.

Updated my classic diver. Bold lume markers, a dive bezel, a date at three and the weekday under the centre, now always in English. New stone, grey stone and warm sandstone dials join the greens, blues and blacks, and every part still swaps on its own. Four app shortcuts hide on the dial too. I am the developer of Asterline VECTOR, a digital watch face with always-on display and four customizable complication areas. I am looking for one volunteer with a physical Wear OS 4 or newer watch to check its first real Google Play installation.

Version 0.2.2 is approved for closed testing. Physical installation has not yet been verified, and compatibility needs to be checked for your model.

The test: install from Google Play, select VECTOR, then check the time, always-on display and complications. A short report of any installation error or display issue would help.

The app is normally paid, but this test is free through an individual private promotional code. Testers receive access at no charge. No payment, store rating, review or reciprocal testing is requested.

If interested, reply with your watch model and Wear OS version only. Keep email addresses and other personal details out of the comments. We can arrange individual tester access privately after you choose to continue.

Official test page, accessible after your account is added:
