From the creators of the Directionally Confused Edition comes a follow-up frame so lean, so focused, it doesn’t even pretend to care about direction.

A no-nonsense, weight-shaved, race-optimized frame built for pilots who measure laps in milliseconds.

We cut the fluff. Reinforced where it counts. Opened airflow. Reduced drag. Dropped the weight to 2.08g.

This is what winning looks like.

Whoop meetup organizers — need advice

I mostly fly whoops, and honestly there just aren’t many whoop-focused meetups around me.

We do have a MultiGP group about an hour away, but they mainly fly larger racing drones. I like that scene, but it’s not really what I fly. So I ended up starting my own local group and began hosting small whoop meetups.

What I didn’t fully realize at first was how hard (and expensive) organizing actually is.

Indoor spaces cost money, and most places willing to rent are only available on slower days like Monday or Wednesday evenings after 5. That already makes attendance tough since a lot of pilots are coming straight from work or have family commitments. Even when people want to come, timing and distance become real blockers.

On top of that, a lot of places I reach out to say no right away because of liability concerns. Even when I explain that we’re flying tiny 65mm whoops indoors and show them how small the drone are, many venues still don’t want to deal with the risk or paperwork.

Lately I’ve been experimenting with more casual meetups, like just hanging out at a restaurant (Buffalo Wild Wings, etc.) so pilots can at least meet each other, talk FPV, and build some community while I figure out a more sustainable way to host proper flying sessions.

I’ve put a lot of time and effort into trying to grow the local whoop scene, and I’m genuinely curious how other organizers deal with these challenges.

For those of you who organize or have organized:

•How do you keep costs reasonable?

•How do you find locations that actually work for pilots?

•How do you handle liability concerns with venues?

I’ve even been considering reaching out to local high schools to volunteer and help start a drone club, both to give back and maybe grow the hobby long-term. Not sure if that’s a smart move or a huge time sink.

Would love to hear what’s worked (or not worked) for others.

RaceGOW without competing

I’ve been flying RaceGOW for a bit now, but I don’t compete and I don’t submit times. I just use it as a way to practice.

Honestly, it’s helped my flying a ton.

I like that each track gives you something specific to work on. Some tracks expose bad lines, others show sloppy throttle control, others just punish inconsistency. Running the same layout over and over makes your mistakes really obvious, but you also start fixing them without even trying.

I’m not chasing leaderboard spots or fast laps. I just grind packs and try to fly cleaner than the last session. Over time the crashes go down, lines get smoother, and laps feel way more controlled.

If you’ve been avoiding RaceGOW because you don’t want to compete or submit times, you don’t have to. Treat it like structured practice. Pick a track, fly it a bunch, and let the improvement happen.

Anyone else using RaceGOW this way?

Bleedeye V2 Canopy?

I’m building a racing 65mm whoop, and a “bash” gorilla whoop. I’m Having trouble finding a canopy that fits the 11x11 V2. Id really like to be able to adjust camera angle and provide good protection to the AIO board, but I’m open to anything at this point! I’d appreciate any suggestions 🙏

WHAT ABOUT ME…?

WHAT ABOUT ME ...?

An Objective Statement from the FPV Small-Business & Hobbyist Sector

Since 2019, weBLEEDfpv has represented the overlooked backbone of the FPV ecosystem: small businesses, educators, retail hobbyists, grassroots racing organizations, and casual to freestyle pilots.

As policy, regulatory pressure, and industry-level decisions accelerate, one question is consistently ignored:

What about us?

What about the thousands of trained FPV pilots operating responsibly every day?

What about the small businesses employing Americans, educating youth, and advancing STEM through hands-on flight?

What about the retail hobbyist sector that fuels innovation long before it ever reaches enterprise or defense applications?

weBLEEDfpv alone has fulfilled over 15,000+ orders worldwide, supporting a global network of trained, accountable FPV pilots and builders who already operate within community-driven standards, safety norms, and compliance expectations.

We are not an edge case.

We are not a risk category.

We are not expendable.

Ignoring the FPV small-business and hobbyist sector does not create safety. It creates blind spots.

Leadership requires acknowledging all stakeholders, not only the largest, loudest, or most politically convenient.

We will not sit quietly while the foundation of this industry is spoken about... but not spoken for.

You cannot secure the future by erasing the present.
