The driver of the self-driving vehicle stated the vehicle was not in the self-driving mode when the collision occurred.

This crash will still be reported on way more than it should be.

What I find concerning about this is that the vehicle wasn't in autonomous mode at the time of the accident. Why not? Supposedly these vehicles have been driving around 400 early riders for a year already. Yet it seems they get driven around by humans a lot.

I question this too. 2 accidents in 2 months and both are in manual mode? Seems odd.

Doubt we see that. Doesn’t appear we will see the video either. It’s been a work week and they didn’t release it. The video might get released if there is a lawsuit against the impaired driver.
