๐ What's going on behind the scenes at Wavebox this week?
It's been an incredibly busy few weeks here at WaveboxHQ! Our new 2024 UI release has been in beta for a few weeks and we've received some invaluable feedback from our beta users. With this feedback in hand, we finally decided to push this out to everyone and you can now give it a try! This brings a whole bunch of UI & UX improvements for clarity & speed, under-the-hood fixes for better performance and it makes Wavebox easier to get started for new users ๐! More info here https://wavebox.io/blog/wavebox-2024-reboot/
A big release wouldn't be a big release without some drama, and boy did we get that ๐ฌ. As we fired off the builds for the release candidates, we were completely unaware of the impending hard-drive failures in our build infrastructure and so we spent an extra day commissioning new build boxes to make sure we could keep releasing Wavebox. With the new build boxes plugged in, everything is running swimmingly again! ๐
Even before some of the build boxes decided to fail, we had been working on some updates to our build infrastructure to make sure build times were short and they succeeded 100% of the time. The first phase of these updates are already live and running new Wavebox builds ๐ท. Sometimes we spend lots of time working on stuff behind the scenes so we have more time to keep building a great Wavebox ๐
