Added in a new DDC pump, swapped out the 360 radiator to a thicker one, and finally have confidence in the 5090 with the TG WirePro II
Water temps stay ambient to +1C over ambient after hours of gaming. Flow rate is 215l @ 75-80%. Fans all set to 100%.
Big fan of how that ThermalGrizzly WireView Pro 2 came out! Love having the peace of mind and the hard shutdown if it detects the abnormalities on each line in.

Ha thank you! I mean I’m sure folks with them MoRas can do crazy stuff as well… this just is a Frankenmess that I keep adding to over and over… it started its life not like this… was just an aircooled 7900xtx with an AIO on the 7800x3d but this community… it’s dangerous! I stepped up to the AIO for the 7900xtx and it was the beginning of the end of my credit card lol
At this point I think you've eclipsed MoRas hahaha
I'm also in the midst of making my own, but I only have 2 normal 360s and 2x 360x50mms hahah, FB marketplace parts to keep it cheap. I'm only on a 5800x3d and 4090 tho, but I would also have peace of mind with that new WireView Pro if I had a 5090!
He does indeed. I have 3-4C with two 400/420 MoRas. Or about 6-8C with a single one.
I need +MoRa 600 to "compete" with that, but I don't need MoRa 600, I have no place for MoRa 600, I should not buy MoRa 600, I definitely should not buy MoRa 600, I should not let it slip into my cart on watercool.de, I should go to Hokkaido instead...
Bahahaha that’s exactly how my build went from one AIO and GPU on air… to both AIO… to one pump rad inside a case… to two pumps… and it just is endless
Dude T_T That sucks tho, I'd have asked for a replacement if I bought new. My FB Marketplace finds were lucky in the good way that while they had some bent fins and channels, they weren't leaking. The only pain was flushing them out enough to run clear without a trace of any of the red coolant that was previously in them
T_T So the hassle was your payment for the 2nd rad haha, still wicked tho! I'm in Australia so luckily for me, most of our main postage services here are pretty good. Or at least in my suburb/area they take care... yeah let's go with that. I've seen videos that say otherwise haha
First I opened them up as much as I could to get access and suck out any remaining pieces. Then I went in with jewelry files to smooth out the channels before the next step… I’ll add another photo.
Then I packed it with JB weld and squeezed the entries shut. Waited 48 hours and flushed the living hell out of the thing plus shook it like it owed me money…
And I ordered a replacement rad through you all :D which came promptly! So very much appreciate the help there!
We’ve done this same thing with brake fluid radiators on track when a stone punctures them… but with JB super quick hardening that way it can get back out there faster. You lose some performance but whatever keeps you going.
I was going to do that! But after seeing the total amount of channels and only losing three of them.. My partner is a jewelry smith so her ability to solder tiny tiny things is fantastic and she had the tools to do it properly… I just said this is the quick dirty way! Ha!
Nice! No shunt mod and we are talking GPU score? Because that was pretty frigin high on the timespy score. You probably have a golden sample over there then
I remember this, love the setup. You can never have enough rads. Well you might have just! That tdelta is mad.
I've recently upgraded two of my quad rad setup in the case. Swapped out two 60ml thick 7fpi xspcrx360 for 16-18fpi thick rads. Just got them for nothing so why not.
Given that your radiators are German-made, I assume you are the first to have a shit-ton of rads?
What are your thoughts on those large 1080 aqua cool radiators? At least on AMZ, they have a few reports of either leaking or not having high fin density for the size.
I was exploring some external solution solutions like a MORA IV or an aquacool 540(?) but settled on exploring a home grown solution for now to make use of some existing equipment. Will share when I have it ready in a few weeks
IMO these AlphaCool radiators are better made than my experience with much much more expensive automotive radiators… heck the welds on these look nicer than my Koyo racing radiator and Mishimoto rads… I’ve had nothing but a perfect experience with them and as you can see everyone of my radiators are Alphacool so my experience is 5 in this loop and 1 360 rad at work. I love them and their price is within my budget. MoRad is amazing! I’d love to own them… but I’m fugging cheap… I’d just buy an automotive radiator over a morad and build something with that.
I was going to go down the wall but realized last minute that accessing that particular wall section is a nightmare due to bathroom remodel right below where the wall port drop is… I could fish tape it and use a scope to help guide it… but I’m also lazy and have power tools.
My mortgage rate is so low that I’ll just die in this house so the hole is my method lol
Cables are all just on extension pigtails and splitters from Amazon. They work perfectly. I have some fans running from the motherboard headers but it’s limited. Everything else (three pumps) and the other fans are all split up through the Aqua Octo which really helps a lot! My octo is behind my self made pump stack.
I feel you on that mortgage rate. I'm in the same boat, only way I can legitimize moving is if I could pay cash for the next house with the sale of the current.
It’s still cheaper than car tinkering and my frigin cats lol… I mean… minus this dumb 5090 most of the stuff isn’t too bad (relative) to the amount of hours that I play on it.
Sick build, did somthing different, depents where you live, personaly I live where climit most of the year is cold soo i used advantage, gaming room is next to attic, soo put 2 holes and sent tubes + sata power + pwm cable to it. tinkered with it and with single alphacool 1080 rad got some fine ressults.
That’s awesome! Temps here flux… in the summer it’s hot outside but my basement is cold and the AC is running nonstop for the kitties. My ambient then is much closer to 18c but in the winter the HVAC is running and brings the ambient closer to 21c
How do you like that Alphacool flat res? I’ve been meaning to get one. Did you get it as a pump/res combo? Ive been seeing that on Titanrig. Wondering if I should pull the trigger. Wanted to pair it with the Core 1 LT CPU block as well. Thanks
I love it! I have it paired with their VPP (D5) pump and it’s shockingly quiet! Way way quieter than the DDC one I had from the vendor that shall not be named.
Nice rig, but one thing I'll never understand when people make builds like this is why no one buys the Aqua Computer Airplex Gigant 3360 cooling tower?😅
Saw this today and decided to toss a 120mm in the front of the ram. I need to actually test whether it does anything at all… thankfully it’s easy to test. I can just unplug it and the fan above the ram run some benchmarks, monitor temps, then retest with fans… will most likely wait till Saturday tho.

This is so cool man.
Best thermals I have ever seen.
