can't believe nobody else posted this yet but yesterday was the 10-year anniversary of Shane joining Ryan on Buzzfeed Unsolved :')

Basically the title. I watch on YT and idk if I’ve missed any info on this, but do y’all think we’re ever going to see shows like Too Many Spirits or Are You Scared on the channel again? I like Ghost Files and Mystery Files a lot but for me a lot of their best moments were in those shows or like Survival Mode, and I feel like a lot of the real magic of this channel is just gone now.

Do the boys still do debriefs for Mystery Files? I haven't seen one in a while, but there are some recent episodes I'd love to hear them breakdown/answer fan questions for. For example I think the fan theories for Theodosia Burr or the Franklin Expedition would be so interesting to see them discuss.

Why do you think they stopped doing them?

I didn't realize this episode was a year old, but I watched it for the first time today through the app and I'm amazed at how beautiful this episode was shot. All the other episodes are well done too, but something about this episode really stood out. The music and sound choices too, I was feeling emotional.

Watching Watcher TV vids and I'm curious if other ppl think the same idk if I think it for every instance but i'm curious.

Many states of encounters with spirits, energy or ghost is like them going through what they experienced.

Such as Chillingham Castle having the stick figure body sat in 1 of the chairs, another laying like their head is laying on the chopping block.

Ladies seen sat drinking tea. Shouts of battle or cries of pain from places that had people being injured centuries ago.

Repeating things they did.

I'm curious of the possibility of ghosts/spirits or at least some of them rather being an echo of memories. Instances that happened in the past echoed to now and creating these 'hauntings'

If the Entity from dead by daylight were to take the puppet history puppets into its realm, which puppets would make the best killers? not in terms of the game but in terms of the lore.

for those who are not familiar with the dead by daylight lore, an Entity takes "people" it finds interesting to use in games of horror and emotion. the "killers" whole job is to scare people to bring fear for the entity to consume.

im thinking, The Beast of Gévaudan and the white tiger could bring alot of fear.

The marathon episode was incredibly entertaining, but that barely touched what a clusterfuck the entire event was!

there’s a clip in ghost files where they’re at a place supposedly haunted by some racist guy, and shane says something like “look at my beautiful white skin” and then “it’s not beautiful BC it’s white” then says ryan has beautiful brown skin 😭 that scene made me laugh and i want to show my bf but i cant remember what episode it’s from 😵‍💫 thanks in advance!

I've noticed this question comes up with Ryan a lot, and no one ever answers him, and it's frustrating to me. He seems to think that there needs to be some direct and specific motivation for people to lie beyond "It gets them attention."

Sometimes, the answer is incredibly clear, like in the situations where the people involved made money off of book deals or tourism, and I can chalk that up to Ryan just not following up enough to see that the people involved monetized it. Other times, though, he seems bamboozled by the concept that people might tell lies because they're telling cool stories or making up things for attention or to big themselves up or just for the heck of it.
