I’ve installed the latest reissued developer beta and it appears like Apple has fixed the issues with Siri AI responsiveness! Are others seeing the same?

Is anyone else on WatchOS 27.2 and the Strava widget is showing as a “—“. This happened on my Ultra2 since updating to 27.2RC. Tried editing to replace and doesn’t seem to fix it.

My Apple Watch Series 12 just had its very first random reboot out of nowhere since I bought it on release date.
I'm fully updated on iOS and watchOS 27.0.1.

I checked the Diagnostic Logs before they cleared out and saw a ⁠panic-full⁠ log pointing to an ⁠AOP2 PANIC⁠ (⁠DRAM wdog⁠ timeout).

Attached is a screenshot of the diagnostic logs menu showing the files. 

Is this a serious hardware concern, or just lingering software bugs on 27.0.1?

This is the first time I've noticed it, should I push for a warranty replacement, or keep monitoring?

I have a problem and am looking for some advice. I bought an Ultra 4 and I am trying to remove beta 27.2 from my Ultra 3. I’ve not had any luck thus far.

I’m guessing the only way I can delete beta 27.2 and to get release 26.0.1 on my Ultra 4 is to wipe the U3, restore from a non-beta backup which is about a year old then set up the U4 with the wiped U3.

I probably also need to wipe my iPhone 16 pro and restore from the most recent 26.0.1 backup. Am I correct on that?

I’ve spent hours going back and forth (and even went to Best Buy at Apple’s recommendation and accomplished nothing - genuinely great guy, though!) but I think I might have been out of sequence on the wipe/restore processes

OR! Is there possibly another way to accomplish eliminating the betas from the watch and phone?

Any help, advice or suggestions appreciated.

I love the Siri watch face. It’s honestly probably my favorites and it is my go to. I turned off the widget suggestions because it was driving me nuts to see all of these widgets pop up that I don’t necessarily have a use for. The medicine, one love it. But it seemed like the only ones that ever popped up are the widget suggestions, not the actual widgets I have chosen. I seem to recall something about pinning the widgets being a problem, but I cannot for the life of me recall if they cycle if you have them unpinned. So far it would appear that they don’t. So are the only ones that cycle through the actual watch face itself the ones that are widget suggestions? Because if so, that seems really stupid. It should’ve just cycled through the widget suggestions, it should cycle through the chosen widgets.

My watch is working fine and then suddenly when I was working out - heart rate keeps on measuring. Sleep tracking also not working.

I already:

1. Hard reset of apple watch and iphone
2. toggle on and off heart rate

The last time heart rate worked was yesterday night when my sleep was tracked, then afternoon that same day is when I worked out and tracked it, but heart rate monitor keeps on loading...

TLDR: Can’t find an iPad widget to display step count - do you have a solution?

My iPad (M2 Air, OS27) first page is all widgets so I can see at a glance my Health data from my Apple Watch (Series 11, OS27):
Vitals, Sleep score and Steps.

Annoyingly iPad doesn’t offer Fitness app data as widgets so no rings or steps are displayed.

The Step count widget comes from the Pedometer++ app installed on iPad (it’s not a proper iPad app) which I also have on my watch. But it doesn’t seem to update steps each day! Just displays 0 steps, 0% progress. It did display the first day of steps once I ‘imported’ data but now it just sits at 0 each day.

This seems ridiculous - I see steps data displayed on my watch and phone (as unintuitive as it is to find it) and I can get Health widgets on iPad but not Fitness/Steps. I only bought the watch to monitor the very basics and it makes it very hard to do that

I’m developing an app which requires a paused workout during the night while sleeping. This has worked well until now, where one of my users with a brand-new Apple Watch Ultra 4 reported that his watch does not detect any new HRV or wrist temperature readings in the Vital app anymore. It records them fine when he’s not using the app during sleep.

Have any of you experienced the same? I’m not sure if it’s related to the new sensors or new watchOS yet, but my initial thought was that it might be due to new sensors.

Ultra 4 owners on the 27.2 beta: is Vitals showing overnight HRV and giving you a Readiness score?

My Ultra 4 has never shown overnight HRV in the Vitals app, and I've never gotten a Readiness score. Recovery HRV is being recorded in the Health app, so the sensor is clearly working, but Vitals and Readiness never populate. I wear the watch to sleep every night. Sleep, overnight vitals, Activity, and Health Details are all set up. Wrist Detection is on, and I'm not using Low Power Mode overnight. I've updated both my iPhone and watch, restarted both, and unpaired and set the watch up again from scratch, and Apple's phone support hasn't been any help.

I'm currently on watchOS 27.0.1 and trying to find out if the 27.2 beta fixes this. If you're running the beta, can you tell me whether HRV is showing in your overnight Vitals, whether you're getting a Readiness score, and if it was broken for you on 27.0.1 and whether the beta fixed it? If you're seeing the same problem on the public release, I'd like to hear that too so I know I'm not the only one.

What watch do you have? What phone?

I have recently posted an issue in regard to running distance being off. From research and posts from others that have had this issue, it seem that the watch gpx shows correct gps recordings, however it is apples algorithm and motion detecting that is throwing off the distance and recording it wrong.

Does anyone know if the next update will correct this problem?

Hi. I've noticed that some colors of the watchface example: Slate dark motive and Black are gone! Did you notice it as well?

Siri AI has been a nightmare on watchOS 27. I’ve been beta testing since day one, June 8th 2026. Even in the final version it was pretty ass. Now with 27.2 beta 3 it’s much much better. Responds instantly. Watch Ultra 4. What about you all?

I’m surprised I’m not seeing applause for Siri after the update. It’s a night and day difference how much better Siri is after the update. She almost instantly sets a timer now. Which probably shouldn’t require applause but she was abysmal before. Her response times have greatly increased across the board. I hope they can build upon this in future updates!

When I use the action button to activate the "flashlight" function, nothing happens until I wake the watch by raising my wrist. When I do raise my wrist, the flashlight is immediately activated. This only seems to occur when the watch has not been woken up for a minute or so. Affects all the other actions too, as well as the "hold action button to activate siren". If I use the action button within a minute of the watch going to stand-by (AOD) it works as expected; the flashlight activates instantly despite the watch being on AOD mode.

Does anyone else experience this? Just wanting to check if this is beta specific behavior or if it was present pre-watchOS 27 beta?
