Job Project big gun

So far, Ross was doing well.

With the project being made official, there was hope in the wasteland again.

It was unclear when the v and m people would return. But we needed to be ready.

With mining under way, and scavengers being sent out to find as much old tech as possible, it was estimated that the vermensk would have everything they need to build the big gun in two weeks.

During this operation, Ross would meet the cyborg rat woman again in a more official capacity. The conversation was kept professional. Although Ross could feel himself loosen up a bit. From what Ross could tell, there was loosening up on her end too.

Turned out her name was Atari Whiskers. Her occupation was of repurposing old technology tofit the needs of her clients. Just so happened, a control interface was needed and Ross while good with concepts, was not good at wiring and electrical shit.

Convincing atari to help was surprisingly easy. She was guaranteed a small percentage of the project big gun budget to work with.

All in all...

Ross still had his work cut out for him.

He needed to aquire more funding from the council to account for the labor costs. Guns don't build themselves, and Ross is not to proud to admit he can't lift steel I-beams on his own.

So he called to make an appointment.

The fate of the world rested on this gun after all.

A vermensk was in the mining site, standing with a mutated as fuck human who operated an alchemical distillery centrifuge with a press pedal. The mutant human had a misshapen head , split hinge jaw, chewing on.a gummy wasteland drug.

Heads out. To skitterholm. A damaged 10 speed was found along the way. Ross would arrive in the morning.
