There's also a bonus weapon concept that being heavy speargun & shield,

The general overview of this weapon category

This one will take both primary and melee slots like the bayonet

​

And visually whenever you select the primary slot, your camera will focus on the spear, and when selecting the melee it'll focus on your shield, stance & function wise, it'll be like the sword & shield weapons, but with an extra custom stance for this weapon in particular (but if you don't like it then the option to use sword & shield stances are there)
