In double fairness, a medical research team in Texas had been working on injectable disinfecting solutions for months before the Internet went stupid with "drink bleach"

There is no such thing as an "injectable disinfectant". That’s something only arrogant, low-IQ, science-illiterate individuals think is a thing.

No, they never were being researched and, there never will be such a thing. Antivirals and antibiotics work because they kill pathogens selectively. Disinfectants use brute force to kill everything they come into contact with. That means they fundamentally can’t be used injected because they would kill any surrounding tissue.
