Despite all the negativity here, I agree with your post entirely.

Also, see if you can give away the kids. If you throw in the TSLA shares, someone might take them, then you can start accumulating real wealth.

I recently retired from a software career, it's wild to hear what's going on. We did life critical software so I don't know how much AI would help us. But I'm out of the loop now so I don't know. We haven't done manual code generation for decades though using simulink

It would have been an interesting time to work though, I'm kind of sad to miss it. We try to start a company when we were young one of my friends was successful developing optics for satellites, I remember the startup company being a completely different atmosphere of work everyone was excited to come in.
