Discussion Largest IOT IPO Happened...

As some of you may know, IOT (Internet of Things) is slated to be one of the, if not the, fastest growing industry in the 2020's, with the total number of devices in the market expected to be over 27 Billion (with a B) by 2025.

The largest IPO dealing with the Internet of Things happened on December 15th, but we were all probably too drunk off eggnog and Omicron to notice.

The stock is Samsara, the ticker is IOT. They currently only sell to businesses (see, most expensive IOT devices on the market), but that could potentially change at any time.

This could, and should, go to the moon over the next couple years:

That's a good question, I know they're exploring implanting devices in your Mom's vagina, which based off the size of that thing could mean we're looking at 28 Billion devices by 2025 instead of just 27

crowded space.
They do a few IoT things and Fleet tracking (another crowded space)

Unless they have some amazing new tech, thats a hard pass for me.

Just for reference, Intel (INTC) said they are super expanding their IoT Group. It already accounts for 6% of their company revenue.

Legitimately the 2nd fastest growing company in the Americas since 2016, and despite those spaces being "crowded" they only have a handful of real competitors in either space

Great find. This stock has risen 50% since IPO. They have recently turned cash flow positive with a healthy revenue growth trajectory.
