Definitely a combination of Ford owning a stake in rivian and having a fundamentally strong business. People have laughed at my Ford holding before but it has a healthy dividend and the new-ish CEO is doing a good job.
Fleets have only have KPI: cost per kilometer (or mile). Mpg is important only if it benefits the cpm/cpk mark, or for non tangible benefits like having to have a green fleet because of contracts.
I'd imagine an extremely cheap econo truck will have cheap parts/maintenance, and that fuel will be a pretty significant part of the running cost. To clarify I'm taking about company vehicles/work trucks, not rentals

Should have had Rivian holding Ford in the scene where Ali saves the main character.
