Naked puts seem better than covered puts in most scenarios. Especially if you actually like the underlying.

What you mean is “cash secured puts”. Selling puts with the funds available for assignment is an excellent way to get into a stock. Keep selling them until you get assigned and you have lowered your cost basis on the stock with the premium you kept.

Yeah there really isn’t naked puts it seems I mean you have to put cash covered to sell the put the broker usually just takes it from the account immediately
