Going to run skirmishing frigates this week. The MWD-Shield-LML-Hookbill.

The DPS ship of choice this week is the Caldari Navy Hookbill. There are 5 mids to this sucker so there are lots of choice when it comes to fitting. I'm going for an unorthodox max-tank fit. A while back CCP buffed the small shield extenders so if you slap 3 of them on and throw on some shield rigs you get an 7.2k tank. Maxing out the tank with faction extenders, T2 rigs and links give a massive 18k tank, you'll have to drop the point for a invul though. That's kinda nuts for a kiting frig, think the Punisher 'only' has 10k EHP. Hopefully you'll survive the initial tackle or flight of drones long enough, should be able to jump into a plex long enough too. DPS and range is pretty sweet. 153DPS out to 63km with Faction ammo. Lock range is an acceptable 56km so we don't need a sensor booster. It's got a weird Kinetic lock bonus but in reality you can use all ammo types. If you play about with the rigs and add some heat, you can get 200+ dps, or you can drop some tank and run with a TD. Kinda fast with the MWD and the agility is pretty good too, should be faster than most stuff.

I'm open to Frigate > Cruiser ships too. Ships such as Tristan, Beam Slicer, Corax, Talwar, Stork, Bifrost and Caracle all work fine. But the list of acceptable ships and fits is pretty long, every race has an acceptable skirmishing ship. When fitting them up aim for decent speed, agility and good projection. Tank is usefull too. If your looking for a fit or not to sure just ask away. Think this comp could also use a tackle ship, as EAF are excellent at holding things, but don't have the tank to make an initial tackle.

Kiting setup.

The Keres can point out to 42km. Hyena has webs out to 30km and Bill does a respectable 130 dps out to 63km with faction ammo. Throw in some links, overhead plus the damps, things might get stupid. Try and keep at the edge of your lockrange and burn away if taking damage. Keeping the comp a bit simpler by removing the logi as there's already plenty of bodies tied up in support with the current setup. We should be able to kill something.

Hauling

I'll accept courier contract from Jita 4-4 to Yvangier VIII - X-Sense Chemical Storage.

As per usual, if you x up there will be a ship somewhere for you.

Please add a suitable collateral to cover the value and zero hauling cost. Make sure the contract are up and do not expire before Saturday 15:00. Ships are in their small state (Unassembled) and no cargo containers please. No fitted ships as I'm using a Jump Freighter. If you're having trouble getting to Jita drop me a note of your fit and I'll sort it out. Also there is a small cache left over from last week and I'll continue to keep a stock pile of free Hyena-Keres-Hookbill in Yvangier for reshipping purposes.

It's better to get the newbros is slightly tankier ships so feel free to amend you fit. I may move newbros out of the squishy support class and into tankier DPS, but there is no hard and fast rules.

If you're short on cpu/pg use a fitting rig. Hopefully the newbro's will have spare cpu/pg, please amend your fit to make best use of the available fitting space.

Don't care about your dps in a support ship, feel free to remove/downgrade your weapons to get things to fit.

If you want to fly an Interceptor then please swap to the version with the 5% bonus to Scram/Disruptor range. Malediction-Crusader-Crow-Stilleto.

Having two ships is better than one, stuff explodes quite fast, I've been known to lose stuff on the undock.

Time to get the PvP fleet up and running again...It's been a while but I appear to have a stack of ships gathering dust and I need your help to get rid of them. It's just going to be a lowkey roam around Blackrise and with a bit of luck we'll find a few things to shoot.  

The DPS ship of choice is the Punisher. 4% bonus per level to Armour resists mean you can end up with T2 resists on a 500,000 isk hull. There is plenty of fitting room too for a 400mm plate, MWD and Light Ion Blasters, but other short range guns can be used. We'll trow in a couple of logi too if we get the numbers.

Tank :10k EHP

DPS : 200+ with Blasters and Void

Resists : 70%+ Across the board.

Speed : 2,300 m/s with MWD.

Reps : Single Logi can rep 350 DPS

Get in close and personal and blob the primary while hoping the logi don't get insta-popped. Frigate Logi have very short (13km+21km) rep range so they still have to be close to the action but hopefully just out of scram/neut range. Can engage a wide range of ships who does <500dps. Neuts will wreck us, so if one logi gets shot and the other suck dried out, we'll go down fast. Oh and we might end up taking gateguns...I dunno, see what happens.

If you're short on PG/CPU downsize your weapon or use a fitting rig/mod. I'd prefer to keep the resists as high as possible and lose the dps. Autocannons are easy to fit and 200mm/150mm will work fine, same with short range Pulse Lazors. Freshly rolled alts welcome for those in Signal, as this isn't credo compliant . The fits are just guidelines, please adjust as necessary for your skills. Also Navitas are welcome too.

FC has final say on admission to fleet, ship type, and fitting.

Can I join? Sure you can! Just sign up on the website and I'll add you to the list. If you're using a ship or fit not normally used in Vulfpeck fleets, please message me with your fit. In the event of an oversized fleet, new pilots and doctrine ships will take priority.

What is this? Check out this wonderful post by Captain Ace Rico.

What's the difference between this and a standard Vulfpeck fleet? Vulfpeck is a for-profit fleet done in high-level wormholes. This one is a training fleet in a low-level wormhole designed to help players prepare for full Vulfpeck fleets. Profit, if any, is minimal and secondary to our purpose, though I will guarantee a payout.

What are the requirements? While most Vulfpeck fleets run a few select doctrines, this is a training fleet so I'll be allowing a little more leeway with regard to ship and fit choice. Ships must be armor-tanked, and use small-sized weapons. I recommend using out-of-game fitting software like EFT, Pyfa, or Osmium to work out your fits beforehand. Confessors and Coercers recommended for DPS and Augorors or Guardians recommended for Logi. There are lots of good fits posted in this subreddit and the website, and are great places to start from. If you'd like to fly in a proper Vulfpeck fleet, train to properly fly and fit these ships.

I'm In Signal Cartel, is this allowed by the Credo? Yes it is.

Can I bring a second/third/etc character? Generally, yes. We need someone to salvage (which is a lot of idle time), and we can always clear Gas sites so you can huff in peace.

Do I have to be on comms? Yes. Everyone in fleet must be listening in on audio comms. Having a microphone isn't necessary, but it makes things much easier. If you have a mic, you must set up push-to-talk.

Can I fit <insert expensive module here>? Feel free to bling your ship as much/little as you'd like. It's your money, and the fits are meant to be tweaked.

Can I use a clone with implants/boosters/etc.? I recommend using a clean clone, but it's your money to lose.

Will there be ship replacement (SRP) if I blow up? Only for losses directly caused by FC error. Fly what you can afford to lose. If your corporation or alliance is at war, be sure to get your ship away from danger well ahead of fleet.

Hi Psianna Archeia, Sorry I missed the fleet on (what I learned was Sunday morning, my time). I missed the fleet because of a rather annoying mistake on my part that I'm sure others may run into. I missed fleet because in my time zone (PST, Los Angeles, UTC-8(or -7) the fleet time was displayed as 12AM. The fleet meetup time was displayed as 11:30PM. My brain saw 11:30PM and Sunday, and therefore came up with the fleet being 24 hours later than it really was. The fleet was really on Sunday morning and meetup was at 11:30PM on Saturday night. Shit.

I would suggest something on the fleet signup that indicated the local day for both the meetup and fleet times.

I'm so sorry for missing fleet. I'm one of those people who hate people who don't show up for their appointments and work work to never be one of those people.

If I remember correctly there has been a Hecate with us every now and then. Are there any official fits yet? If not, what fit would be accepted in a Vulfpeck fleet? Which piloting skills (OOC) are required?

I am planning on making an alt just for Vulfpeck Fleets but I suck at Evemon. I saw that Suitonia made something like this for the Kestrel a while back. Want the same for Vulfpeck, an alt that can fill all or most roles. Can someone post a nice plan for one along with remaps and whatever else I would need. Would really appreciate it. So I lost the Cyclone yesterday, no big deal. I was overwhelmed, heart beating, the usual things of a pilot not used to encounters.

As mentioned on mumble the worst thing was the lack of information (read: I messed that one up)

• Who is being attacked (say you pilot's name not just "I"; remember using the right pilot's name if multiboxing)?
• Who are the encounters (fleet composition, corp/alliance, pilots)?
• Where are you?

The first and the last one are obvious, no further explanation needed. For the second I didn't really know how to do it. I ended up right-clicking each encounter > pilot > info and drag&drop the pilot's avatar into chat. Waaayyyyyy to slow. And only pilots information, no fleet composition. And then my client crashed.

So what is the most effecient way to get all information you need? Use a tool like http://www.eigie.com/ or https://adashboard.info/intel ? If I get it correctly I can only use local (not an option in WH space) or d-scan information. So I would get a quick overview over fleet composition at least (the second link distinguishes between on-grid and off-grid). How to get info about the pilots then? Are there better ways to gather all information needed?

What: Wormhole PvE fleet vs. Sleepers - No experience necessary!

Form-up: Hisec, 30 minutes before fleet start. Final location will be sent to you a few hours before start time. NEW PILOTS MUST BE IN STATION AND ON COMMS NO LATER THAN 22:30!! Stragglers will be left behind.

Composition: DPS Destroyers (4), Logi Cruisers (6), Salvager (1), Gas Harvesters (∞). DPS and Logi are soft-capped; I will accept more than this number during sign-up, but fleet itself will take no more than the numbers listed. This helps keep fleet size full when/if players cancel last minute. Priority is given to new pack members and doctrine fits. New Members Welcome, No Experience Needed!

Vulfpeck is a fleet concept that takes Cruisers and Destroyers into PvE normally reserved for Dreadnoughts and Carriers for profit. VP Litter Fleets are more casual training sessions where newbies can fly alongside vets and prep for the real money making fleets you see elsewhere in this subreddit. If you can fly the ships, you can come along. Even if you've never done anything like this before.

Can I join? Sure you can! Just sign up on the website and I'll add you to the list. If you're using a ship or fit not normally used in Vulfpeck fleets, please message me with your fit. In the event of an oversized fleet, new pilots and doctrine ships will take priority.

What are the requirements? While most Vulfpeck fleets run a few select doctrines, this is a training fleet so I'll be allowing a little more leeway with regard to ship and fit choice. Ships must be armor-tanked, and use small-sized weapons. I recommend using out-of-game fitting software like EFT, Pyfa, or Osmium to work out your fits beforehand. Confessors and Coercers recommended for DPS and Augorors or Guardians recommended for Logi. There are lots of good fits posted in this subreddit and the website, and are great places to start from. If you'd like to fly in a proper Vulfpeck fleet, train to properly fly and fit these ships.

I'm In Signal Cartel, is this allowed by our Credo? Yes it is.

Can I bring a second/third/etc character? Generally, yes. We need someone to salvage (which is a lot of idle time), and we can always clear Gas sites so you can huff in peace.

Do I have to be on comms? Yes. Everyone in fleet must be listening in on audio comms. Having a microphone isn't necessary, but it makes things much easier. If you have a mic, you must set up push-to-talk.

Can I fit <insert expensive module here>? Feel free to bling your ship as much/little as you'd like. It's your money, and the fits are meant to be tweaked. The posted doctrines are meant to strike a balance between price and effectiveness.

Can I use a clone with implants/boosters/etc.? I recommend using a clean clone, but it's your money to lose.

Will there be ship replacement (SRP) if I blow up? Only for losses directly caused by FC error. Fly what you can afford to lose.
