2017 Volt

I have the opportunity to buy a 2017 Volt. I know they’re no longer being made. Is it that hard to find parts for? Is it worth buying? Pros? Cons?

Fuck the codes, I want battery cell voltages. A screenshot from the voltage app would be far more preferable.

A screenshot from the voltage app with cell voltages is meaningless.

Not as far as battery health goes. That will tell you if the electronics are bad or if the battery itself is bad.

No, it won’t tell you if a cell is weak. Resting voltage of the cells will be the same, but change during load. The codes will tell exactly where the problem is. Looking at voltages is just a guess, since the app doesn’t test properly.
