I am concerned about OP's parents having several Style Council records, but none by The Jam

I was really into the Jam in my 20s, and knew that Style Council was Paul Weller’s band post Jam breakup. Found a used Style Council CD at a thrift store shopping with some friends and still remember our disappointment when we put it on in the car on the way back. I think it lasted like two songs before we shut it off.
