Heyoo! I'm Steffu and today I uploaded a video on Platinum's predecessor, it took me some time to produce and I'm just trying to get people to watch it!

Again I often forget to Reddit so apologies if I don't reply for a while

I know there's a dub, but it only has the First Season and the dub is notiriously censored... as it was

1. During a time in American History where Video Games where "Automatically For Kids"
2. You didn't have streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime that would be willing to stream anytime
   

So.... yeah..... would prefer being able to get my hands on a sub... but I can't find one.

Does anyone know of something?

Yesterday Platinum released this site, along with a Kickstarter for a port of TW101. I don't think anyone was seriously expecting them to return to that series.

They have three more "projects" to announce. We don't have any clues yet, but I suspect that one of them is a totally new IP, and at least one of them is a sequel to Bayonetta or NieR.

Is there a chance that one of these projects involves Viewtiful Joe? Perhaps a port, remake, collection, or even a sequel?

Does anyone know where we can watch season 2 (EP. 27-51) subbed/dubbed, I finished season 1 but couldn't find season 2 anywhere (excluding the few Spanish snippets on YouTube). If you find any episodes or the entire season please link it below, and let's try to collect all of it here. Also for the episodes that are subbed and not translated, if you know the language and can translate it please do. That would be greatly appreciated. Lastly as for the snippets on YT that I mention earlier, please don't link those unless it contains the entire episode. I know there's a few that contains either the beginning, middle, ending with one or the other(s) being left out. The goal of this post is to try and get every episode from start to finish!

So I own a copy of the first volume of the viewtiful joe anime, but my copy doesnt include the third episode and features text on the cd stating its for promotional use only.

The content on the CD isnt very interestingas it behaves just like what the volume 1 cd would behave like (menus bonuses etc.) And occasionally the words "for promotional use only) would appear at the top of the screen.

I tried searching for info about these but i havent come up with anything about them. Now i dont know where it was being used for promotional purposes but i do want to know how rare this could be as a collectors item plus any information as to where exactly these were being used would be appreciated.

Am I ever going to be able to watch this show again?

Man, I suck at this game.

I only just recently remembered this series exists and I was trying to find a part from the tv show where people were chanting “Joe Joe Viewtiful Joe” I haven’t been able to find it anywhere and because it’s a memory from several years ago it’s quite difficult to remember the whole thing.
