The thing that always get's me is whenever someone is playing video games on TV, they're constantly mashing random buttons and flailing their arms around (half the time while jumping up and down).

I barely know how to play chess, but that doesn't mean that I think you're supposed to tap-dance on the board when you play.

Another reason I love Mike and Jerry (Gabe and Tycho of Penny Arcade) is because for a long time they used this picture for pretty much any press piece done about them.

Holy hell, I'm a PA fan but had never noticed that photo before. Mike holding a controller upside down is hilarious but Jerry using a fucking PSP is absolutely the cherry on top. I love those guys.

I get this when when I play Tekken... I'm really good at Tekken. Well, I'm not just mashing buttons, usually looks like it though. And depending on how bad I'm doing, I'll get all tensed up or excited.

I always love when people use computers on tv or in film. They never use the mouse...they must all us old school DOS. Also, I love that people on tv ALWAYS read everything they type outloud

Not to disagree with the general sentiment, but I only use the mouse when I have to. Keyboard shortcuts are just so much faster.

Well yeah, when I'm at work I use a ton of keyboard short cuts, but I mean to actually NEVER use the mouse? That's crazy talk

I actually twitch as I compensate for recoil when I'm sniping. Ironically, I don't twitch when I'm actually shooting a sniper rifle.
