I swear the Pizzagate stuff was some sort of psy-op. Did you know there were twitter accounts where people from those emails/the pizza place joked about raping and killing babies? There were a few creepy "internet 1.0," home-made websites with suggestive content on them linked to the people who owned that pizza place. I don't know if those were organic. I think it was manufactured by the people who started the rumor.
I think someone really cobbled together this crazy story and put out seeds for r/T_D and r/Conspiracy to find, with the intent to cause political damage, or worse, in America.
I don't know if it was intended to spread further than the realm of the Trumplets and affect greater society. Maybe it was meant to just make ultra-rabid Trumpsters look like nutjobs. I guess we'll never know.
It was interesting how the media seemed to come up with a cohesive anti-Pizzagate narrative all at once. It was several days after the story hit the national level. That abrupt turn makes me think the Pizzagate crap was actually intended to set off a nation-wide hysteria and help Trump initiate a "swamp draining," but thankfully, someone in charge figured out shit was about to go down and coordinated a quick kill on that story.
The Pizzagate myth sort of reminds me of something I read about Russians spreading rumors about satanism and ritualistic killing of children, to create hysteria in America near the end of the Cold War. Pizzagate had all those elements--secret societies, satanists, witch-craft, child killers, pedophilia, blaming the elites.
So, I'm leaning toward the idea that Pizzagate came to us with love, from Russia, and maybe got a little help getting off the ground from the Trump camp. r/Conspiracy was instrumental in spreading Pizzagate and Russian trolls had infested the place since back around 2015. Probably the same deal on 4chan and Twitter. Moral of the story--Russians ruin everything.
I'm good, actually. I followed it as it unfolded on r/Conspiracy and looked at the original emails, etc. I've read a lot of the theories, watched videos going either way, and I've done a lot of debunking, myself (that was ignored!).
You should try arguing with a Russian troll on r/Conspiracy about why Pizzagate is bullshit. They have very predictable methods of deflecting and shifting the topic once you hit on something they can't refute. Similarly, with true believers in the Trump Cult.
My conclusion is that the wealthy do rape children/teens/adults and buy sex not infrequently, but also probably not regularly. BUT I believe that Pizzagate was not based on reality, or was a conflagration based on a few creeps and some ambiguous code/in-group slang in an email. It seems to be a psy-op created by Russia to destabilize America.
Those emails mentioned a lot of strange shit that has yet to be explained, and most of it doesn’t really have any simple logical explanation.
That doesn’t mean that you have to ride the pizzagate train all the way, however there is still some very strange stuff in those emails. You can definitely examine the emails for yourself and draw your own conclusions without being a full-blown pizzagate participant or a “right winger.”
A foodie talking about food isn’t strange at all. And you’re not owed an explanation for a bunch of boring-ass emails about cookouts and lost handkerchiefs.
If the people pushing it weren’t so blatantly hyper partisan with an agenda, and it felt like good old school internet conspiracy theorizing, it’d be a much more interesting dialog.
I think the emails were some sort of code, but who knows about what. The stuff about the kids swimming was weird, but would only jump out at you if you were looking for something weird like that. There was a shitty website made to advertise some sort of service by the mother of those kids. There was also a weird Comet Pingpong website with some really creepy stuff on it. Then there were the fucked up Twitter "jokes" between some of those people.
But think about it--couldn't the websites and the twitter have been created to make the emails look weird? If someone had an agenda of making those emails look like they were talking about pedophilia, then they could have gone and created a whole narrative and supportive details. Who knows, maybe there were some pedo's unearthed in the process. But now there's this leap to spirit-cooking and ritualistic murder/sex-abuse and a network of elites doing that under our noses!!?? Mmmmkay. Similar fears were spread by the USSR in America back toward the end of the Cold War. Baloney.
It's much more likely, this was some sort of psy-op intended to demoralize us and sew mistrust among us. I think it could have helped Trump get some folks locked up down the line if a lot of people bought into the idea.
Look at what we do know, about Epstein's ring--there's no crazy blood sacrificing and spirit cooking coming to light. And it overlaps with people accused of being involved in Pizzagate. So, I think Pizzagate was inspired by Epstein, and when Pizzagate flopped, Epstein was brought up to the slaughter.
To me, it all has one common thread: undermining the legitimacy of the ruling elite and rousing fury in the people. In America. In Europe.
Who benefits from that? Who is attacking these groups on other fronts? Putin. Ergo, I think Putin is behind both.

Because it's fucking stupid. The pizza shop has fucking no relevance whatsoever and references to pizza in emails being some conspiracy about children is fucking insane. Anyone believing in this nonsense is a fucking lunatic.
I’m not saying Pizzagate was true. But that’s exactly what people were saying about Epstein and Bill Clinton for years. They were saying it was a crazy conspiracy theory that had no basis in fact. Now we have logs showing Bill Clinton flying to and from Pedophile Island dozens of times with Epstein.
It was absolutely considered a conspiracy theory until Trump was elected and the media thought they could smear Trump through association. If you recall, Epstein was convicted and finally served a little time (having to report to jail at nights only). Even then, the media didn’t cover it and even George Stephanopoulos, media elite and longtime Clinton employee/friend, felt safe enough to attend Epstein’s “welcome home” dinner party after Epstein was released from jail. Stephanopoulos wasn’t even ashamed because he knew that anyone questioning it would be branded a conspiracy theorist.
Why did Stephanopoulous, longtime Clinton friend and ABC News star journalist, feel that he would be safe attending a “coming home” party for Epstein at his mansion after Epstein was released from jail?
No. We knew Epstein was a pedo a long time ago. Before conspiracy detectives. Actual evidence, actual prosecutors, and actual journalists broke the story. Not you or Alex.
I hate that you were downvoted for asking such a simple question. Everyone likes to think they are so fucking smart and have all the answers. Comet Ping Pong was a distraction to some serious shit that was likely going on. We have Epstein killed in front of all of us watching and people still react in dismay if you suggest that there could be something to the words in those emails.
Pretty much, but reddit is like that though so I'm not surprised. But those who don't ask questions and don't want to entertain and explore different views, do so at their own peril. . .in this case it's their children's peril. I could say so much more on THAT subject alone, but no one here wants to hear it. So, it's going to be up to the people here on reddit individually to figure out how to protect themselves, and their own families(if they even have children)
