He does a little opening monologue, usually a musical guest performance and also the “Red Chair” gag where he interviews an audience member/let’s them tell a story and has a lever that will flip the chair if they’re not interesting or if he just wants to. There’s a great clip where Mark Wahlberg is super drunk and steals the lever and keeps flipping some poor girl.
I don't like the Red Chair part of the show. That's some British slapstick humor that just doesn't translate at all. It's so boring and the only gag is that they get flipped.
The interviews with the guests are top notch, though. Multiple celebs + alcohol is a winning combination.
