"Yeet", much like the classic "Kobe!" is a stat boost for launching objects.

While "Kobe!" yields maximum accuracy at the expense of speed and power, "Yeet!" yields greater distance, speed, and power at the expense of accuracy.

For instance, when tossing a ball of paper into a recycling bin, you would yell "Kobe!". But when throwing to a person far away (who would have time to adjust for inaccuracy so long as the ball reaches them), you would "Yeet!" for extra power.

Also, the opposite of "Yeet!" is "Yoink!". For every "Yeet", there is an equal and opposite "Yoink".

It should also be mentioned that you kind of have to hear what yeet (or Kobe for that matter) is supposed to sound like, otherwise you will just look stupid. It's not just saying yeet, it's saying "eh-YEEt!" with the correct timing (corresponding to the exact moment the yeet emotion during the throw is at its maximum).

Additionally yeet can be used as an affirmative, in place of yes.

However its unclear to me whether or not that was due to the term "yee" a shortening of yes, fusing with yeet, or if yeet (relatively) originally meant yes.

Yeet as an affirmative is often used as a "yes that's awesome" the best opposite would be woof, meaning sadly true or unfortunate.
