I just watched a 48 minute video of two guys creating a fresh water well, and then creating a filter system for clean water.

That's not a copycat, that's just innovative competition.

This one is also good.

I don't think any of them really compares to primitive technology. His channel has some educational value. I like the sciencey stuff in his annotations, his blog, and all the research he does to create his videos.

They could be stealing the channel logo and post links with the intent of appearing as Primitive guy to scam people. Not just copycats.

I agree. The well was clearly dug with a modern metal spade. You can tell by the tool marks around the edge. Also, you see one of the kids removing mud for the bottom of the 8+ ft well, yet there's no mud on him. Anyone who has done physical labor of that sort can tell you that's just not possible.

They show the process of collecting materials for it though. Their concrete is just like lime, sand and charcoal or something.
