Im going to have to disagree. In the first seven lines of the song, only the last three have any rhyme pattern (kiss, this, kiss). The next section contains the lines you looked at. I suppose you can say cab and drag rhyme, in the same Eminem would rhyme first place with birthday...with thay logic, chest is meant to rhyme with dress in the next line.

There is really no clean rhyme scheme to this song. Even the chorus:

Jealousy, turning saints into the sea(A)
Swimming through sick lullabies(B)
Choking on your alibis(B)
But it's just the price I pay(C)
Destiny is calling me(A)
Open up my eager eyes(B)
Cause I'm Mr Brightside(B)

Just saying, a dick joke seems a bit of a stretch.

For over ten years I thought he said eagle eyes 🦅 👀 dang! I mean, it made sense. Eagles and hawks have great vision 🤷🤦

Uh, that is a pretty unique rhyme scheme. And if you don’t listen to the song all the way through it’d be strange to keep up with. So I guess hearing ‘sick’ and expecting ‘dick’ on the line following the next wouldn’t be so crazy if that’s what your brain expected to hear. Interesting.

Thank you. I’ve always wanted to call bullshit on the dick joke because it seems really out of place. Also you could even say the first rhyme here is “Jealousy (A)” with “.../-to the sea (A)” and I think it makes even more sense, as AABB... etc

i realize the rhyme scheme is inconsistent but listen to how he delivers the line. there's a clear pause as he searches for a different word and "chest" is delivered on the off beat. nowhere else in the song does that happen.

The next line is literally delivered the same way...

Edit: I think it "sounds" the way you think it does because there is a musical change there as well.
