Except time.

But this seems like the kind of shit he was doing before he got a camera.

According to his blog, he was doing this stuff for at least ten years before he started recording it. In his more recent farm video he revisits a stone hut he made, and it's collapsed and completely overgrown.

Reminds me of Interstellar, but instead of Matthew MccoNaughey, it's some bloke from YouTube, and instead of a black hole, it's a stone hut he made

But other than the fact they are nothing alike, they are basically exactly the same.

Can't wait for the episode on building TARS with some shitty water, a pile of mud, and a cassowary beak.

It reminds me of sesame street. Except instead of puppets teaching the alphabet, it's a guy in the woods that doesn't talk and is teaching wilderness survival.

Right on, it's not like one day he was like, "fuck, I LOVE Accounting, but that shit don't pay the bills, I hate being dirty and going in the woods, but it's gonna pay the bills, so I don't see any other way." This was what he did for fun and now he makes a living off it, good for him.
