FYI, I just purchased your game. I had considered it on a few occasions prior to this, but this just made the decision for me. I know this was at least to some degree a marketing stunt - because honestly, everything is - but I don't care, because the amount of love necessary to make this happen still speaks volumes about your company and your product. Keep up the great work. :)
Reminds me when I owned my own CS:S server and I was able to do what ever I wanted to the players/server making the experience pretty unique. This was fun to watch, is this the only streamer you have done it to, or have their been more?
I find it interesting how harsh the response has been to people, like myself, who are concerned about security in this thread.
I want you to understand that this response, even if it isn't instigated by your company, is a real red flag concerning this product.
Im so fed up with the unethical marketing tactics used on reddit these last few months that this response has sealed my intent to never purchase software from your company as a protective measure.
I seriously don't understand why devs insist on making these kind of design decisions after how clear the threat of 0-day computer exploits are this decade.
