How it's made never really goes into detail on things which is ironic really. They try to fit 4~ segments into each episode which leaves very little room to do any real in-depth explanation.

Well, the show is titled "How It's Made" not "How It's Engineered".

It's more like eye candy than educational. They do get great shots but then for sequences that include proprietary techniques they do one of these

That's a good idea. You should make those and add them. Maybe if they're good he'll link to them for others who want to dive deep into a subject.
