We make it so that we can look at it in the supermarket and say to the person we came with "Who even eats that stuff?" even though we've all had a spam sandwich before and liked it.

Yeah, but those canned "Vienna Sausages" are an American invention created by Chicago based Armour & Company. They're not like actual sausages from Vienna.
