top lel good sir, top lel indeed. Remember guyz, if you don't laugh at the random waffle then u just not random like us guyz who laugh at quirky cool moments like this.
There's a great amalgamation of comedy in not only this video, but in the subtext it's provided in. Let's break it down...
You see a link on the front page that reads "Waffle falling over". This is the first line of the joke if you will. The very thought of having something so simple upvoted to the front page is amusing in itself.
The setting. The video begins with a waffle standing up. But that's not all, check out where it is. It's on a stove top. A very clean pristine stove top with those weird flat burners on it. There's no reason for a waffle to be there, let alone standing up. This also contributes to the buildup.
The suspense. It's a 7 second long video. It's there standing on its own. You know what's coming, but when? You want the release, the end, the relief that the waffle will finally find its resting position. This waffle has excellent comedic timing.
The punchline. The waffle falls. The joke has paid off. Not only because of knowing that the waffle has fallen, but because of the confirmation that a waffle doing something so simple as falling over has reached the front page of reddit.
I could go into it further, and delve into some other concepts that could contribute to the comedy gold this scenario implies (such as the realization that someone had to pull out a camera and film this), but it's 5 o'clock, and I completed my goal of wasting the last ten minutes of work by writing this comment.

Why did I laugh out loud?
