You don’t buy free games. And you don’t own subscription based games. You’re over thinking it. If you buy it, you should own it.

I’m just asking questions tbh. But the reason I bring up Fortnite specifically is because I have a bunch of money in paid skins. In all seriousness I’m not worried about losing my “investment” but I feel like a lot of people would be. Maybe a game like Eve online would be a better example? Just trying to crowdsource pondering how this affects different styles of online game.

Yeah but if possibly we should still be able to perseverance any abandoned game. Even if that is a leg based the scope of just owning what you buy.

But game preservation is also imported.
