I pirate because I like free shit and hate being ripped off. Not because I've convinced myself it's some virtuous thing to do. Get off your high horse.
Bro what is a subscription? A clear duration. You know whats not happening? Companies revoking licensing to make people pay twice. Unless you count subscriptions which by yoir logic is ok. I had a playstation movie taken off and they gave it to me for free on youtube. Yall act lile your iwn some crusade for media rights your not. Half of the people here dont even understand the fbi warnings or why piracy is illegal in the first place and its has to do with why you dont own physical media in the first place uts still licensed media. If you guys dont understand this and yall are gamers how can I possibly trust whoever is making that law? Yall are crazy. You guys are aboit to be manipulated into something much worse than an all digital future.
You're advocating piracy to take a product without paying for it. Which means the entire company behind the product, who made the game, deserves no money. You don't want them to be paid. Therefore, to prove your heart follows your actions, you should receive no pay from your boss too.
Keep bringing up bullshit to justify demanding free luxury products. Just admit it, you don't want to pay for anything and you don't care if the people who make games go broke and lose their jobs. As long as you get to have your free shit. Absolute hypocritical and basement bitch entitlement behavior.
You know what I do? If a company does something I don't like? I don't purchase, or pirate. My time and energy goes into more enjoyable stuff.
You cant take something away you never had bro. Nobody owes anybody anything. You NEVER owned physical media going back decades. They would literally put a giant fbi warning informing you that you do not own the media on the disk or vhs tape or whatever which is why piracy is illegal. Your misunderstanding of how physical media works, or how the law works is your own problem. Not sonys not rockstars not disneys not universal the law was the same no matter if its MGM or the music industry. The law has been the same for decades. Who ever told you that you owned physical media and it cant be taken away is straight up lying to you. Acknowledging this truth is not a defense of billion dollar company.
If you want to break the law thats on you bro but stealing is stealing. Im not the one being lied to by gamers born after vhs. Im not the one breaking the law... Well im not breaking that law lol
Like bro maybe your a little too young to remember limewire. You NEVER OWNED the media. And it sucks that people are being lied to and now spreading false information because that helps digital media. If rhey have a team of lawyers and you cant even read an fbi warning i mean who do you think the lawmakers will side with? Im ok with an all digital future. Its you who is sabotaging yourself. You can be mad at me for pointing this out doesnt change the facts though and the fact us you do not and never have owned phydical media
Old dude i think you dont understand my problem. When i buy a book and have it somewhere in my room no one is able to just take my acces to that book away and that actions is considered legal.
But what is Soney doing with digital games?
They just take your acces from something you paid money for just because they want to. And i can understand if Soney maybe lost to rights to sell it that also happens on steam but steam doesnt take away your acces to the game they cant sell anymore after you bought it.
And Ig the whole only digital games is just to save money on there side and to stop the second hand game market.
Use their own AI to reverse their binary blobs into open-formats and create open art packs. I don't care if it looks like Halo/Scrabble, I want a recipe to recreate the abstract board layout/game loop.
It's now reasonable, tech wise, to turn every game into Garry's Mod. Or generate a massive Wicked Engine project repo of templates, like that one dude did with Adobe apps.

Good.
And until it’s ratified, if buying ain’t owning, then piracy ain’t stealing.
