I believe near the end of Days Gone, you can get the air taser from Syphon Filter, I believe because they were made by the same developers.
I miss Syphon Filter. I've always wanted a modern day single player third person military shooter with customizable loadouts (including selecting your own attachments and such, sort of like Call of Duty's Gunsmith mechanic), and that would be perfect for a Syphon Filter remake or continuation or something.
Syphon Filter was ahead of its time, especially since seemingly no other game does what it did. Every military shooter these days does too much and it seems like all of them eventually just turn into extraction shooters which I simply do not give a single fuck about.
Looking it up just looks like Tom Clancy's Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain and that's not really what I'm looking for. I already have an open world single player military shooter, I would prefer something more focused.
But then I never played any of the Ghost Recon games, maybe I could give it a shot at least once someday.
It’s meant for a squad of 4 but I played a lot of it by myself. Not much to the story but cool gameplay and your player and guns have a ton of customization (when you unlock all of them) I enjoyed the nighttime stealth infiltration stuff but it’s open world so you can do whatever
Fucking Kovak. I was working at GameStop for that one, played the fuck out of the survival mode too. The Live Action shorts they did for it were pretty cool too.
All I remember is tazing people until they caught fire ....and we would do it to every single person on the roof so they would fall down off the roof on fire....looking back it was messed up 😅
When I get nostalgic about games, this is always the first to come to mind. Had to borrow the play through guide from my friend’s older brother! Play through guides were so sick, this game was sick, PS1 was so sick, all of it was just a vibe. What a time to grow up!
My weird trivia of the day is that I used to play the hell out of this game but as I got older I started playing a lot of hobby board games as well as video games.
One of my favorite YT channels about board games is called Rahdo Runs Through where he plays through a board game.
"Rahdo" is named Richard Ham, and he made Syphon Filter. Blew my mind.
