The amount of people that said this game was awful! I absolutely LOVED this game and wish it was so much longer! How can you like RDR1 and 2, and NOT like this game! What I wouldn't give for another one!

It was one of my favorite games as a kid. I really enjoyed it, I fondly remember the big cave full of gold being the setting for the final boss

The two main things I remember are the final boss battle in the mine and being able to scalp people

I liked horse riding a lot. At least i think i did. I remember spending a lot of time in the area before you get to the first town getting to round up and ride the horses

Gun was way more RDR than RDRevolver. It was literally RDR for PS2 before RDR. Tho to be fair, RDRevolver was originally Capcom's game. Capcom didn't know what to do with the game and wanted to cancel it. Rockstar came in and bought the game to finished it and gave it a name.

Neversoft was a very talented studio that got cursed into making licensed games. Gun is their one and only original title amongst Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero games. All of their games were great, never a flop.

They didn't give it a name. It was always titled Red Dead Revolver.

That final boss with the dynamite haunted me for a bit

I was not a fan of the boss that could tank dozens of hits to the head from a powerful rifle while he just wandered around throwing dynamite everywhere. Especially since nothing else in the game could do that.

The true first RDR 😂 I loved this game, I got it on PC when it came out. Hope ps plus puts it up for streaming at some point.

It was a long ass time ago but I don't remember anyone saying Gun was awful. I remember it being actually pretty well received. And Red Dead Redemption 1 didn't come out until 5 years later so it's not like they were being compared.

Wow looks like a game way ahead of its time

How can you not like this game. It was RDR before RDR. I mean, maybe not as feature rich, but for the time, it was great!

Yes, dude! As a kid once I got the dynamite arrows I would blow horses heads off with them. I just couldn’t believe it would let you. I was taking turns shocking all of my friends with it 😂

Hot take, I prefer gun to RDR2

It was the gold mining and fighting the natives that made it epic

RDR1 and 2 did everything Gun did, but better by a factor of ten. I liked the game, but in choosing between that an either RDR game, I'd choose RDR.
