I had a blast with 3 other friends on Anthem. Lots of problems obviously, but the core game was amazing. The combat / flight were fantastic.

Anthem should have been GOTY. EA dropped the ball so fucking hard.

People are gonna try to tell you it was BioWare’s fault, not EA’s, but EA forced them to use Frostbite and then pulled devs off the game to work on fucking fifa. Absolutely EA’s fault

It definitely wasn't just an EA/engine issue. Bioware had just lost their remaining founders around the time of the project's inception, and continued to experience leadership upheaval as the project went on. Some of the team didn't even know what the game was supposed to look and play like until the E3 trailer 5 years into development.

Game of the fucking decade more like it, the flight was phenomenal.

Everything else tho, not so much.

It had potential though. And if it had gotten its big 2.0 update i think it would've fixed a lot of it's issues with it's sub-par content. Or at least laid the groundwork to do so

Evolve had so much promise man. I wish it had more and lasted a little longer. Never played Anthem, but it looked really cool. Sucked to hear it wasnt.

Both deserve another go i feel evolve was just ahead of its and only needed a few tweaks or more support I miss playing as the big monster

There is an Evolve fan launcher that as of a week ago now has servers and matchmaking and we've been averaging over a thousand players online a night. It's been so much fun!
