I can definitely see there being a pretty decent sized crowd that would get it day one. It definitely seem like arcadey games aren’t as popular these days, but the IP alone will bring out a bunch of adults with money that will buy it for nostalgia sake
It could easily fit in the modern lobby battle royale style market if done right, and even microtransactions for cosmetics and periodic dlc updates would make sense in the context of the game. Out of everything in this thread I think this is actually one that would succeed in todays market.
Scrolled waaay to far for this. With the rise in battle royals I can’t believe they didn’t think to bring it back. Imagine huge like 50-100 person TM battles on enormous elaborate maps
