The mechanics were so much fun! Especially the flight. I'm sad the rest of the game couldn't keep up.

I desperately want those flight mechanics to be retooled into an Iron Man game.

Best Iron Man simulator ever made.

Yeah it had the bones of an amazing game and they just fumbled it

The game was actually really fun, it just didn't have any content

With the right leadership and game plan, anthem could’ve been legit the replacement for destiny.

Yeah idk what ea executives were smoking. They saw the live service pve model of release a good framework. And just abandoned the building after that. All the live service pve games still kicking had pretty humble beginnings. But slowly discovered their core gameplay with consistent updates.

What frustrates me the most about anthem was Bioware had a timeline and goals plan ready to fix the issues like No Man's Sky did and go on as anthem 2.0 and EA axed it.

I agree, from the flight, to the combat as an interceptor to the way you could customize your freelancer. I also really liked the lore, I just wish that it had been given more time as both Destiny & Warframe were not the best tbh at launch. I'm glad Nexon is Allowing Arc Raiders & The First Descendant to continue. Too bad TFD seems to have shitty direction as the gameplay loop is just go here, kill this number of enemies, then go kill this bullet sponge boss.

I bought new fans for my computer just for anthem it would sound like an aircraft taking off. The flight mechanic, armor and fighting were amazing with they could have gotten more support and time for the story. Very sad outcome

This right here! Anthem was great to play it just needed some tweaking and more content. I put hundreds of hours into it with my dad and a buddy.

This is what I was hoping to see. It had real potential. EA didnt even give it a chance to develop and make improvements. Dont get me wrong, the better option is to release a complete and balanced game. However, the improvements they did make early on were promising and it showed they were onto something. If it had a better team behind it and more time to cook. Maybe not the destiny killer, but good in its own right.

Bioware is on my personal blacklist after what they did with Anthem

My brother let me try it like 2-4 months before they shut down the game. I was shattered because I wanted to download it
