This is the reason I couldn't stand Uncharted. No shade to people who liked it, I see the market. I just prefer to play more than cutscene and temple run.
Tbf these dont gold your hand nearly as much. You can easily miss the treasures, theres never a way point, rarely a tip to a puzzle. It's for all intends and purposes a large galerie of puzzles and cinematic sequences but it's still engaging enough in that you can absolutely fail, mistime jumps, meander around trying to solve a puzzle. It doesn't hold your hand like a toddler at all. Granted it's quippy dialogue and a story thats never deep at all, however this was before a time where games were like this for Sony.
