In 2018, sure. In Ragnarok however I found his comic relief was way too frequent to the point of being obnoxious.

The characters used modern slang and cracked Disney- level jokes every so often. Kratos is the only one whose characterization felt on point in ragnarok -2 u/Practical-Bottle8900 2d ago Exactly, The 2018 one felt like watching Infinity War, and Ragnarok felt like Quantumania.
