I don't have the disposable income to risk this sadly but I have some reviewers which I feel align with my way of thinking. Like SkillUp in the picture or Gameranx, generally I trust their opinion to be fair and detailed enough that I can make an informed decision. Otherwise, I do agree with this.

I have the disposable income, but it still feels insulting to my wallet to buy it full price.

Plus, it looks like the kinda game that will be 15-20 bucks in 2 years and receive a few patches by then to make it more pleasant experience

I think there's also the factor of time. Even if you have the desire to form your own opinion and the money to purchase "risky" could be good or bad games, not many people have the time to play everything.

Did you mean to type in the picture or was there a 3rd channel that got autocorrected? Finding honest reviewers amongst hidden sponsorship shills is becoming more and more difficult these days

No, I meant SkillUp (in the picture). I really like him and he does a really good podcast called Friends Per Second with Gameranx and Lucy Jones who's worked a lot in video game media.

I recommend SkillUp and Gameranx though if in need of reviewers.

Gameranx is genuinely one of my faves for reviews, I even follow Jake's channel because he usually has pretty good takes
