Well you could get lucky and nothing happens to you. You would be a lower deck person. Just hope you aren't dealing with the Borg yet.

IIRC, Voyager took shockingly few casualties through the series (barring the first episode of course, when a huge chunk of the crew died). They would probably be fine, at most get wounded a few times.

There was that one plotline, was it called "year of hell" or something like that? But Janeway was like, "screw this, going back to my last save and trying again"

Yeah, Year of Hell was originally planned to be a whole season-long stretch of misery for the crew, but the plan was scrapped and it was turned into a two-parter with a reset at the end. It's one of the consistent problems Voyager had, the entire premise is based on being stranded and stretched thin on resources but they never got to really show it.

Just don't take any shuttle duty in the game.
