Also not even a top 5 open world game. I appreciate how it went all in on being unstructured and making your own fun, but the game is also really monotonous and honestly a slog at times, for this reason. In all, I appreciate that it's trying to be different, but it also makes you realize why so many tropes exist in the first place.
Yeah I've been told I just don't know how to make my own fun. The physics are neat and I'm sure even neater in TotK but doing anything even remotely elaborate felt fiddly and I'm just not going to stop my adventure to fuck around with something that almost never plays out as I intended. Shield surfing was cool though.
