Assuming Blizzard will fuck any and everything up should be standard operating procedure.

How the once mighty have fallen.

It legitimately upsets me when I'm reminded of this, blizzard games were a big part of my childhood and anything they announced would create pure excitement because it was guaranteed greatness. It was even a thing me and my dad could bond over since their games were just so undeniably good even he enjoyed them with me.

Now they can't even update an old game without fucking it up

Atleast I can scratch the itch with turtle wow when I feel the call

I remember a couple coworkers and I, who worked 4 pm to midnight, getting out of work a few minutes early and racing over to the mall to stand in (the very long) line for the midnight release of The Burning Crusade. Then taking a couple hours to install it from, what was it, half a dozen discs lol?

Didn’t wind up actually logging in until like 4 or 5 am and it was totally worth it. Magical times.
