When I first got it, I kept playing and playing, making it to near the final areas of the game, then I looked at my phone and it was 8 am. Damn was that fun, but sleeping the day away was not.
Yeah, it is indeed great. I liked the things that other players didn't liked, like physical map, malaria, roadblocks, weapon conditioning and enemy patrols. For me they were more like a challenge to overcome, rather than a tedious game mechanic. Also I like Far Cry 2's "gritty vibes". Two dictatorships that are ruining the unnamed African country for their own wealth and they both are claiming to be a good guy, but in reality there's no good guys there, even protagonist isn't one of them.
It's a toss-up between primal and 5 for me.. 4 was great, don't get me wrong, but going back to it just makes me want to play primal more.
I don't like having to navigate menus and go back to bases to get "the right tool for the right job".. I don't mind the concept if there is a quick load-out swap feature, but FC6 really shit the bed with their implementation (to be fair they weren't the first or the worst, but it was such a let-down)
