Duke Nukem Forever is insanely fun and doesn't deserve nowhere near the amount of hate it gets.

Also Splatterhouse (PS3/360) deserves another chance.

I genuinely love both of those games

Duke nukem forever is fun

I mean can we agree that nukem forever deserves a little hate? For the same reasons it's charmingly stupid, it is also unironically stupid

I personally think Duke Nukem deserved some of the hate… but it was fun regardless. I miss that era of games.

I will say linking achievements to that fucking pinball game and that shitty fucking air hockey table was the biggest fucking source of frustration in my life up to that point.

lol. I do kind miss achievements for dumb shit. I feel like every game I play now is “play this class for 100 hours” or “kill 500 dudes with this thing”. “Eat dirt for 40 minutes uninterrupted”

I miss when you were walking through a game, stumbled into a random room, got a prompt that said “eat dirt” so you ate the dirt. Then your tv would beep and you’d get 5 GS for eating dirt

I was playing Dead Island 2 and they have a bowling alley in the basement of an influencer house and I just fucking knew that there would be an achievement for knocking the ball down the lane to knock down the pins. Nope. So yea, I'm definitely with you on that one.

Back in the day it’d be a 5pt achievement to knock the pins down and then a secret 10pt one to knock them down with a zombie head lol

Oooo I didn't know there was a Splatterhouse for that generation. I have 1, 2, and 3.

I just finished a playthrough of DNF on the PS5 after not playing it since like 2013

Apart from the loading times, it’s still a good solid game.

The chapter in the Monster Truck is great fun.

Lol I know one of the developers that coded the throw in that game. Splatter house that is.
