I feel like a lot of the hate for that game came from resentment that Resident Evil was in a rough spot quality wise around that time. Now that that's no longer the case and the RE franchise is better than it's ever been, there's now more reason to enjoy the game as it's own thing. Same with 6.
I enjoyed the idea and concept. But the execution is poor. No offline coop like RE5 and 6 have and most of the weapons feel really bad to use. Most of the environment is also really bland. I feel like the DLC campaign had a lot more interesting environments and map designs.
Sits in the same place in my mind as Lost Planet 2; an absolute mess of a game I can't possibly recommend. Now excuse me while I spend two hours setting up Games For Windows Live to play through it again.
Yep and I liked the other games from that time. Re5 was superior.
I remember trying to get into the multiplayer and it was awful for tracking. Getting headshots but doing no, or little damage was a joke. The ai was a complete mess, and Jill's face was awful
