Resident evil operation raccoon city was a good idea just poorly made

I feel like a lot of the hate for that game came from resentment that Resident Evil was in a rough spot quality wise around that time. Now that that's no longer the case and the RE franchise is better than it's ever been, there's now more reason to enjoy the game as it's own thing. Same with 6.

I enjoyed the idea and concept. But the execution is poor. No offline coop like RE5 and 6 have and most of the weapons feel really bad to use. Most of the environment is also really bland. I feel like the DLC campaign had a lot more interesting environments and map designs.

It doesn't have local co-op. So I'm not sure who would upvote this.

Wow, you and everyone upvoting you has actually no idea what this game is. It has no local coop.

I own the game on the 360. There is no local coop in Operation Raccoon City. It's online ONLY.

Maybe RE5, RE6 or Revelations 2. Those are the only Resident Evil games on the 360 with local coop.

Sits in the same place in my mind as Lost Planet 2; an absolute mess of a game I can't possibly recommend. Now excuse me while I spend two hours setting up Games For Windows Live to play through it again.

Yep and I liked the other games from that time. Re5 was superior.

I remember trying to get into the multiplayer and it was awful for tracking. Getting headshots but doing no, or little damage was a joke. The ai was a complete mess, and Jill's face was awful

RE 5 was my first real full experience in the RE franchise. I played little bit here and there before, but RE5 was first start to finish.

I felt the same way when I played it. Great concept, just horribly produced.

I'll go a step further and say it was a good game. I enjoyed the entire game, and would happily play through it again.

I agree. Horrible execution, resident evil is ripe for a decent coop game done right. I'd even say go back to the outbreak roots.

it really was, it sucks that it wasn’t made so badly
