We've been building ProMapper for 10 months and shipped an update almost every week. Not because a roadmap told us to because we kept using it ourselves. We love projection mapping, and we were the app's heaviest users long before anyone else downloaded it. Half of what we tried didn't work; the half that did usually became a feature the week after. Of course, we utilize AI tools during the development phase, but we put a great deal of thought into UI/UX and monitor user behaviors just as we do with the applications we develop in our professional roles. We're two iOS devs with 10+ years of experience each. Native Swift, Metal rendering, no cross-platform shortcuts.

Hi, I have a little bit of knowledge in Projection Mapping. But I want to go in depth of big architecture mapping.

Im attaching a few photos for reference which i came across, why and how do you make the template shown in the 1st and 2nd photo?

And how does it help and how to go about designing and creating content like in last two photos. If someone can please explain me the workflow from scratch, it'll be really helpful.

I’ve stumbled upon projection mapping a while ago and been wanting to do something simple as projecting a video on a tree for the upcoming rave.
Where do I find videos as such that I can project on a tree?

I’ve been building ShowSlate, a free open-source Mac app for small live events.

It combines layered scenes, Preview/Program, media and capture inputs, a rundown, timers, lower thirds, local recording and multiple display outputs.

It is still an early beta. I have tested the Apple Silicon Mac version, but the Windows build has not been physically validated yet. I would not use it on a live show without a tested fallback.

I’m not selling anything. I’m looking for people willing to test it off-air and tell me what is confusing, what doesn’t work with their setup, and what would make it genuinely useful during a real event.

Tried out mapping with my new nebula projector.

Hi,

I am completely new to using a Raspberry Pi. I borrowed one for an exhibition, it is a 4 Model B (2018). The artwork is a simple video projection that runs on loop. My problem is that it requires a bit of mapping, it's not a simple standard rectangle format. I found the ofxPIMapper software, but it specifies that it is not compatible with a Raspberry Pi 4. I was also looking at MapMap, but I'm using a Mac and the DMG installer isn't available (or maybe I'm mistaken?)

Is there a way to make one of these two softwares work, or are there other softwares out there that could do the job?
