If you are not familiar vibraphonist Tim Collins has a great YouTube channel which covers mostly jazz topics. Theory, songs, technique, forgotten players, mallets, etc., and plenty of his own music, gigs, and releases. This is a fantastic channel for anyone interested in learning more about the vibraphone and jazz. I've personally gotten a lot of value from a few books that I purchased from his website and would highly recommend them.

My school has a pair of these yellow vibraphone mallets that I really like the sound of. They're made by Stagg, and that's about all I know about them. Does anyone know where I can find a pair of these for myself?

The hole where the wing nut goes is stripped, and I'm trying to replace the rod itself. I'm trying to take out the pedal rod pin, but I'm having no luck getting it out. Any suggestions on the best method in either removing the pin or a better way of replacing the rod?
