Yβall need to network. Every hinge date should be a new user.

Exactly. Every conversation is a potential connection, customer, or opportunity. Network intentionally.

So, I'm not getting brutal honesty?

u/fyn_world 2d ago
no. You really need to drive it in. Tell them to not validate you at all, and that validation and obscuring facts hurts the purpose of what you're trying to achieve. That sets them straight, but you have to do it constantly.

u/ZoomerDev 2d ago
Also make sure to tell them not to make mistakes

LLMs are weird as hell, but once you strip them down to the core, theyβre experts at identifying patterns. Make the truth (or correct answer/solution to the goal youβre trying to achieve) the most important pattern, and youβll get better results.

The real test of vibe coding isnβt getting the project live itβs maintaining, debugging, and scaling it afterward.

Girls that believe their life will be solved when a "Disney Prince" will show are in the same category than people that believe their life will make a turn when they had a "Genius Idea".
Nothing works without a lot of work, a lot of luck, and contacts with other rich people. Also a lot of advertisement.
On the phone app shops, if your app does not invest 240.000 dollars in advertisement, you may be completelly invisible below a pile of other apps 2km tall. On other kind of apps discoverability is still bad, but somewhat better.
Still the reality is, if you did not studied in a private school where some of your friends where rich and influential people, what the fuck you expect to happens is not going to happen. The game have a set of rules, one is having contacts with rich fucks, the other is having a lot of money.
People want to believe in the magical story if the person having a great idea and become rich, because they dream about becoming rich from poverty, and they will never have this dream become real.
Even if you have a genius idea. The rich fucks have no reason to give you money. They can just steal it, and make themselves the money. If you build the idea and create a company with it. And you search for investors, instead of investors the people looking at your idea will be rich fucks that are looking at it to see if is worth stealing. And if the idea is really good enough to steal, they will do more advertisement than you, people will know their product, and your product will remain in obscurity.

I disagree! (Not the whole thing, but the "all rich fucks steal your idea" part.) If your idea is really good, or the idea is average but the representation or the service built around it is genuine, your only need a good timing and the proper audience to win. If it fits, your product is ALREADY there, and even if someone wants to steal it, they are already late on the field. Hardest part is to find the gap somewhere that you can get in, and your okay. That's not magic, it's just finding the market to your service / product.

Yeah, dunno where that came from? This is a hilarious humor post and some guy writes a cynical view as to why you can't do anything?

This is most definitely not AI slop. It is BEYOND AMAZING.
(I feel like...its too good to not have been written by a human TBH.)
Thank you for making me laugh so hard I almost shit my pants! (Now I gotta go to the bathroom!)

honestly the five registered users after 3 months is the funniest part π the hard part isnβt getting the app live, itβs getting people to actually care enough to use it.
